Privacy Policy
Last updated October 9, 2026
This policy explains how Vayrik Labs (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit vayriklabs.com or contact us. We collect as little as we can, we don't sell personal information, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
1. Who is responsible
Vayrik Labs is the controller of the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, email contact@vayriklabs.com.
2. What we collect
- Project enquiries (by email or the contact form, when available): your name, work email, company, the services you're interested in, budget and timeline if you choose to share them, your project description and any files you attach.
- Career enquiries (by email): your name, email, and whatever you choose to send, such as a portfolio link or resume.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Once our repositories are public, the Open Source section loads their statistics directly from GitHub's API in your browser. That request is governed by GitHub's privacy statement.
3. How and why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding).
- To consider career enquiries and reply to them (your consent, and steps taken at your request before an employment contract).
- To keep the website secure and working (our legitimate interest).
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from third-party font services. Your browser's session storage is used only to cache public GitHub statistics for up to an hour. It contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- our website hosting and content-delivery provider;
- our form-processing provider, which delivers form submissions to us;
- our email provider.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined in California law. We may disclose information if the law requires us to.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process information outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Project enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- Career enquiries: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you agree to a longer period.
- Server logs held by our hosting provider: according to that provider's standard retention, typically days to weeks.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents can also ask us to disclose what we collect and to delete or correct it, and we won't discriminate against anyone for using these rights. To make a request, email contact@vayriklabs.com. We will respond within the time the law requires. If you're in the EU, UK or another country with a data-protection authority, you can also complain to that authority.
9. Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it. Please report security issues to contact@vayriklabs.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the website.
